We’re an environmentally committed organic and natural quick serve restaurant created by two pioneering companies in the world of healthy food for a healthy planet: Stonyfield Farm and O’Naturals. Gary Hirshberg, Stonyfield’s CE-Yo is the founder of O’Naturals.

Stonyfield Café offers a tasty and varied menu:
• an array of sandwiches served on our own freshly baked organic flatbread
• fresh salads to order or design yourself
• flavorful soups
• rice and noodle bowls
• yummy kids meals
• Stonyfield organic soft serve yogurt and smoothies
• quenching natural beverages, and
• crafted organic ales and wine.

Don’t look for any preservatives, pesticides, additives, hormones or antibiotics here. We don’t have any!

Background Story

O’Naturals first opened in May, 2001 in Falmouth, Maine, and we rebranded it as the Stonyfield Café in 2010. Gary came up with the idea for O’Naturals during family road trips with his wife, Meg, and three “little yogurt eaters” from feeling like a hostage to the world of junk food. His vision was to provide families with delicious, quick natural and organic meals in a comfortable setting, served by staff who were passionate about the food they were serving.

Stonyfield Farm was founded by Samuel and Louise Kaymen and Gary in 1983 as an offshoot of the Kaymens’ organic farming school. It is now the world’s largest organic yogurt company, producing 9,000,000 cups of yummy organic yogurt each week and supporting thousands of organic family farmers and over 180,000 acres of organically farmed land. To help take our restaurant to the next level of service and success, Gary and O’Naturals co-founder Mac McCabe decided to change the name to Stonyfield Cafe, in recognition of our friendship with America's most recognized organic brand. The Falmouth Stonyfield Café is the first of what we plan to be many locations where you can have absolute confidence in what you are eating. With over 3,000,000 delicious natural and organic meals served so far, we know exactly what you are looking for. Our menu hasn’t changed, but we have enhanced it with delectable organic sweet-n-tart soft serve yogurt and freshly made organic yogurt smoothies. Under the restaurant leadership of Jessie Mullen, who has been with us since the beginning, our team is ready to make sure that you have a wonderful experience. And we remain passionately committed, whenever possible, to working with local farmers and suppliers, who share our commitment to sustainability.
